I made a typical Amazon ordering boob, meaning to get these scissors for my Mother, but sent them to myself instead thus having to order another pair for her. At least this let me try out the scissors and know whether they would be OK for Mum. The scissors are excellent:- sharp, easy to use with a smooth, gliding cutting action.

I spent 5 minutes hacking at a plastic bag trying to get at the frozen contents…broccolli – I think someone used them in the garden. It was then I realised I need a new pair of scissors. These are great, they’re light and they have a long life guarantee. And they work.

Hubby did it again. Looked in the kitchen drawer and in the space occupied by my faithful scissors (which could be officially classed as antiques I am told) there was a yawning chasm. He’d put them somewhere AGAIN.
In a fit of pique, I thought he could then buy me some new ones, and these are the ones I chose. And they stunned me.
I chose the CONTROL scissors as I have issues with my grip (dropsies) and thought that something that had ‘control’ in the title might help – and boy does it ever. No more shiny plastic slipping from fingers, there is a comfortable, easy grip, and after several dozen uses, I have yet to drop them. They are sharp, do as they are supposed to do (although sadly this pair cannot make a decent cuppa nor iron hubbys shirts…) and have a handy grippy bit in the middle which is a godsend for wrenching off plastic tops from sauce, water and other things I find slippery to do.
They are light, comfortable, and do exactly as they are supposed to with ease. Hubby gets to keep the other scissors I used to have. If, that is, he can find them……

I know it’s only a pair of scissors, but still – they’re superb. Really strong and sturdy – they just feel quality and you know they will last years. The super guarantee is added peace of mind. Don’t waste money on many pairs over the years that either end up breaking or damaging things, or cause injury!
